Program Success Stories
Enrolled in SSVF, Ms. Tamara, a homeless single mother, received housing assistance and case management services in an effort to stabilize her and her family. Thanks to her tenacity to excel out of homelessness, assistance from KEYS staff and the SSVF program, Ms. Tamara stabilized her life and two years later touched basis with KEYS saying, “I am independent and successful and have enrolled my children in charter school. I budget money and manage everything so much better to include repairing my credit. I’m responsible now and have paid off creditors. I am excited to report that I am working on purchasing a home now and life has turned around completely. KEYS has impacted my life in such a beautiful way and my time is now spent between working, college and quality time with my family.”
